1. How much money can I make working from my home?

Like many other jobs, much of this depends upon you and:

(a)	What type of work you do---what are your skills, interests, etc.
(b)	Which companies you choose to work with---we suggest you work with more than one.
(c)	How much work you choose to do---how many hours per day can you work and how much can you produce.

If you're looking for a way to make a extra income part-time or full-time, consider the assembly, craft, sewing, and similar type work. If you're looking for a very high and even unlimited income, be looking for a business you can start from your home. Our e-Directory offers a great selection of both!

Be sure to pick something you enjoy and you will greatly increase your chances for success. Our e-Directory is full of companies that have the market for their products, just not enough people with the skills to help them produce them. That's why they use homeworkers. Also, with today's technology, there are many different types of businesses you can start or operate from your home, many without the need for a lot of capital.

2. How do I know that you can help me find work at home that is right for me?

There are over 400 listings in our Work in Home Resource e-Directory, and we're constantly adding new companies. We try to give a variety of opportunities for every type of individual. We also believe we have the most generous Refund Policy (see question 6) of our type business on the Internet. Most companies of our type don't even offer a refund. WE WANT YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL!! We believe we've found opportunities for almost every type of person, skill, experience, and education level. You might even have the desire to learn a new field.

What we can't control, is your willingness to take action. ACTION is the keyword here! It is up to you to contact the companies and let them know how qualified you are. We do guarantee that if (1) you're willing to accept our listings and you (2) contact the companies listed in a reasonable and professional manner and (3) you have access to a computer/modem, U.S. Mail and/or a telephone in the U.S., that you will be able to find work you can do in your home. Our Refund Policy is based upon your taking ACTION! If you're not serious about finding work you can do in your home, then don't purchase this e-Directory!

3. Are there any start-up costs involved with the companies listed in your Work in Home Resource e-Directory?

This decision is entirely up to you. Our e-Directory offers over 400 home-based business opportunities from which to choose, and it grows daily. Some of these do require some type of startup cost and some don't. Please remember, you are free to choose the opportunities that are best for you. We work very hard to find a variety of home-based business jobs and opportunities. We are constantly researching new companies and opportunities.

Some of the companies that offer assembly type work do charge a small startup fee for their kits. We've all heard, "these companies are just in the business to sell their kits!" So, we called several of them and asked them, "why do you do this?" Everyone of them explained to us that they incur substantial costs sending out their startup kits, and they have no way of knowing whether or not the person on the other end is a serious homeworker. By charging a small fee, which covers their costs, they increase the chance that you really WILL do the work. We've discovered that most of these companies offer a REFUND for their information and/or startup kit after you've done a certain amount of work for them. In addition, the startup kit that you purchase may be a tax deductible business expense for you.

4. How do we know you're legitimate? Who are you?

These are two questions that are asked frequently. We are two ladies who have been working from our homes for over 15 years. K. K. Blackwell started developing a Work in Home Guide over seven years ago. She previously promoted and sold this Guide through "snail mail" and traditional marketing through the business name, Achievers Publishers. It became an increasingly expensive and frustrating process. She discovered that companies change addresses, phone numbers, etc. and that when you have 10,000 copies of a Work in Home Guide on hand, you can't just trash them. You have to print enough to keep your costs down; yet not so many that they become outdated too quickly. It was a real battle.

In early 1998, she approached D. D. Harris about forming a partnership and taking the Guide to the Internet. D. D. readily accepted; thus, we pooled our diversified talents and formed Internet Achievers. This is a legitimate company listed with the State of Texas and the Internal Revenue Service. We are under the reporting authorities of both.

We each work from our separate home offices---sometimes together----sometimes by telephone----and most times through Internet communications. K. K.'s talents are in web-design and marketing. D. D.'s talents are with the day-to-day organizational duties such as maintaining the database of customers, Work in Home e-Zine subscribers, accounting, contacting new companies, etc. Both partners participate in the researching of new companies and business opportunities. Our grown children love to refer to us as the Internet Mamas.

We thoroughly enjoy what we're doing, and our goal is to help other individuals find work they can do from their home. Researching new companies and maintaining the Work in Home Resource e-Directory has become a full-time venture. We are a legitimate company who's goal is to help you find work you can do from your home.

5. How do I know that the companies in your Work in Home Resource e-Directory will not "rip me off"? I've heard that many of these companies are just "scams!"

We all know that we cannot control the actions of other people, so there's no way to know for sure what will or will not happen when dealing with ANYONE. Now having said that, let us give you some information that may help assure you that we're giving it our very best effort:

(a) We pre-screen to the best of our abilities new companies that request to be listed in our e-directory. We ask for information which we hope will help us find businesses that are legitimate and honest. In most cases, we ask them to send us samples of their product and/or information that allow us to review their opportunity.

(b) We strongly encourage feedback from our customers and we get it! If our customers have had a bad experience with a company, we want to know it. If we get numerous complaints about a company, we have the ability to remove them immediately. Companies that do not meet with our standards of fairness, integrity, and validity as a home-based business opportunity are removed immediately from our e-directory, and notify you of their deletion through our monthly Work in Home e-Zine. We do not knowingly list or promote any company which we know does not honor its commitments or provide our customers with honest service.

(c) We do screen almost all these companies to the extent that is realistically reasonable. We may contact the Better Business Bureau before we agree to accept a new company. If we discover that they have unanswered claims or numerous complaints, they will not be allowed to be listed in our e-Directory. We've turned many companies and opportunities away!

No, we can't guarantee you a positive experience with anyone outside of our control; however, we CAN-----and we DO-----try our very best to list only honest and reliable companies that can offer you a positive and profitable experience with them!!

Thus far, we've only received one real complaint against a company in the e-Directory. One of our customers complained that after purchasing the startup kit, one of the company's did not ship their product. After researching the complaint, it was discovered that the customer tried to pay with a bad credit card. Our customers have let us know when they discover a company has moved or closed. They also let us know when companies are not presently hiring, as is sometimes the case of the clerical companies we have listed. Being Internet based gives us the ability to delete these companies and add them back when they are once again contracting homeworkers.

6. What is your Refund Policy?

We feel that we have one of the most generous Refund Policies on the Internet for our type service. We sincerely want you to be successful! Once again, our Refund Policy is based upon your taking ACTION. Here's a copy of our policy just as it is written in the Work in Home Resource e-Directory:

Guarantee

The information in this directory is easily copied. We also want you to give the directory a fair chance to find the right opportunity for you. For this reason, we have a conditional guarantee. If, after using this directory for 60 days and writing at least 5 companies you have not found the right opportunity, you are entitled to a refund when you meet the following conditions:

Send us a written reason why you want a refund. Enclose photocopies of 5 letters you sent to 5 different companies and material you received from these 5 companies. This will show that you at least tried to use the directory. Matter of fact, if you will mail us the material you received from 5 companies along with your refund request, we'll reimburse the amount you paid for the e-Directory, plus your postage cost to us up to $3.00. A refund check will be sent to you within 7 days provided your original payment has already cleared the bank. All paperwork should be mailed to:

NOTE: we are constantly updating the companies in this guide. If, in your writing to these companies, you find a change of address or "out of business," please forward the change to us. Having an Internet Based Directory gives us the ability to make changes as we discover them. We appreciate your help tremendously.

We just recently changed our Refund Policy from 30 days to 60 days. We wanted to give individuals plenty of time to contact the companies, receive information, and begin work. We suggest you work with more than one company so you'll know which one/ones you like. Again, we want you to be successful; but the ACTION part is up to you.

7. What is an e-Directory?

Very good question!! This stands for "electronic directory." As explained in question 4 (Who are you?), our whole business was formed because we wanted to give our customers the most updated information we possibly could. Having a directory in hardcopy did not give us that ability. K. K. ran into this challenge when trying to promote her directory through traditional marketing.

Having an "electronic directory" gives us the ability to constantly make changes to the Work in Home Resource e-Directory. As we discover new companies, we can add them immediately. If we discover a company has closed, their address has changed, etc., we can make those changes immediately. If a company decides to promote a new product, we can add that immediately. We always let our customers know of changes that are made through our monthly e-zine.

In the same sense, our customers are great at communicating with us. When they discover changes before us, they let us know. It's been a great team relationship. Our goal is to keep our information as current as we possibly can, while continuing to research and find new companies for you. It has become a full-time venture.

8. How long will it take for me to receive my order?

This is something we're very proud of and we're constantly working on improvement. We've just implemented a new system which will give you better service and quicker access to the e-Directory. Depending upon how you order, here's what you can depend upon:

9. After I receive my order, how long will it take for me to start working at home?

One of the wonderful things about our research is that we make it a point to deliver something for everyone! Within our website, there are ideas that --- literally --- you can get up from your chair and act on immediately to be producing income in just HOURS. There are also opportunities that are more complex and require preparation. Nobody knows which work in home opportunity you will choose for yourself. You may even choose more than one! Matter of fact, we recommend it! The important thing is that we give you the choices! The rest is up to you.
